used bamboo chopsticks
cut into smaller pieces
dip into strong rice liquors for many days
add little bit herb flavour
add little bit Natribicarbonate (whatever this is)
add little bit sugar
add little bit soy sauce
add water and boil
keep in a container for a few weeks
They become "bamboo shoots" when all liquid is absorbed by the chopsticks
Wallah! "Bamboo shoots"!!
Remember they came from used chop sticks!
Beware when you buy foodstuffs from China !!
