The greatest vocal icon of Asia with a sweet, untarnished natural beauty: Teresa Teng

She passed away suddenly on May 8, 1995 due to asthma in Chiang Mai, Thailand, at the age of 42.

A great loss to millions of her fans, including this blogger who is a banana, yellow outside, white inside. For those who still don't understand, it means a Chinese with an English-educated mentality. I don't know Mandarin, but I enjoy listening to Chinese music and songs.

We are not made equal. It's a fact.

Presenting The Greatest Teresa Teng with her 2 most popular classic renditions:

She is also my favourite, Justin.

Music and song know no boundary, either you are 'banana', 'ciku', 'rambutan' or 'durian'.

One of my favourite song is 'The Moon Represents My Heart', ie 月亮代表我的心。

A true Malaysian,

How not to love this Icon? Even if one is deaf, one can still see the inner (and outer) beauty of this untarnished pearl!!

Even if one is deaf, and blind, one will still feel her "vocal vibration"!!!

Such is the greatness of highly gifted personalities.
