IS THERE HOPE FOR YONG VUI KONG!!!!??????

IS THERE MERCY AND COMPASSION?????????????????

CAN THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE, SLEEP IN PEACE????????????

LATEST UPDATE 8.20PM :  I SAW IN THE TV NEWS; SINGAPORE PRISON DEPARTMENT HAS GIVEN AN EXTENDED DEADLINE!!!!!!!!!

THERE REALLY IS HOPE!!

And this is from my internet friend "A True Malaysian" :
Vui Kong's update,

January 2011 – that’s the date the Registrar of the Supreme Court has set for the Court of Appeal to hear Yong Vui Kong’s appeal against the High Court’s decision on his judicial review application.

Vui Kong’s lawyer was today informed that the appeal hearing has been set “for the week commencing 17 January 2011”.

“This early notice is to give sufficient time for parties to be ready for the hearing, though we are aware that the record of appeals and cases have still not been filed,” the Registrar’s letter said.

It's all in the hand of 'someone' to determine if there is hope for Yong Vui Kong.

By the way, this 'someone' is not God, not an immortal, but has power to put Yong to death or otherwise.

When a person is in 'twilight' years, as compared to this very young boy, that person is sure to value life more, unless MERCY AND COMPASSION are not in that person's dictionary.

I still have hope however slim his hope may be.

Unless Singapore president or Lee Hsian Long step in to make a pledge of mercy on his behalf, the court of appeal can reevaluate his case and drop the death sentence replace with life sentence. Highest government official has the authority to make clemency requests base on special circumstances. His fate very much rest on the sense of humanity and compassion from the highest level of government official, the question is whether he deserve such a clemency or not from the view of official.

It seems to me this 'someone' is more powerful than 'God'. He can decide how long Vui Kong can be alive like we see in the extension.

In this, we see the ugly side of human beings. If one life is not ours or our dear one's, we usually couldn't be bothered.

Can I say so to your readers here, Justin?

I keep coming back to this post to see how many of them concern about Vui Kong, but, what a let down.

Well, I am not powerful like this 'someone' to judge the extent of the human beings' ugliness.

At least I am more sure that there is no 'God' judging from this case of Vui Kong's. If in fact Vui Kong is ultimately put to death by the Singapore authorities, can I say 'God' is ugly to put him to death or this 'someone'?

ATM,

My original post was titled "News that won't attract attention".

This is life. You've got to be a celebrity to attract attention. Same with my blog. At the end of the day I will only have 2 or 3 visitors, you, bow and another anonymous!!

Only wish I am so smart to be a doctor; then people will come. And my head will be swollen, and become ultra sensitive and arrogant.

Hahahahaha!!!!

Sory ATM, your comment is a serious one. I should not make a joke out of it.

Let's hope Yong Vui Kong can live his life.

If Yong is a mule, then i think his life deserve to be spared since he is being duped into smuggled cocaine into Singapore, not because he is a drug dealer or a professional smuggler. He doesn't look a bit like a drug dealer at all, except he does look like mentally disturb person and young.
