"9" The mother of all numbers!

Some time ago, to be exact May 16, 2009, I posted my thoughts on my favourite number '9".
This was what I wrote:

Incidentally, 9 is my "lucky" number.
My house is No. 9 and the road is also No. 9.
My phone number ends with a 9.
My NRIC number also ends with 9!
My car No. starts with a 9.
And I am 59 this year 2009.

Take a look here:

[Examine some more amazing facts of this number. Multiplying by nine reveals mirror symmetry among numbers. If any number is multiplied by nine the resulting digits always add to nine. For example, 2 x 9 = 18; 3 x 9 = 27, 4 x 9 = 36 and so on.

Let's have a look at some more of the number's unique associations.

The 9th power of 9 is 387,420,489, a number which is unique. Breaking it down, we get 3 + 8 + 7 = 18 = 9; 4 + 2 + 0 = 6; 4 + 8 + 9 = 21 = 3; and ultimately 9 + 6 + 3 = 18 = 1 + 8 = 9.

Astronomically, there are 27 constellations in our galaxy, and each one of them has four directions. Furthermore, 27 x 4 = 108; (1+0+8) = 9. In other words the number 9 covers the whole galaxy. After all this, we still have the incomprehensible derivations of the number 9 such as the disastrous 9/11. A point to ponder, isnt it?]

The Bagan Pinang state constituency will be the
9th by-election. It is situated in Negeri Sembilan (the 9th state). This month is the 9th month of 2009.

In the last general elections, BN won the seat by a majority of 2,333 votes, taking 6,430 votes to PAS’s 4,097 votes.

Let the Mother of all numbers teach them the Mother of all lessons not to be arrogant. Let the number
9 be the precursor for the Ultimate triumph of Good over Evil.

My subsequent post will be in 9 parts, featuring 9 powerful quotations from 9 super-extraordinary personalities!
