Wide spread Seal cull took place annually in Newfoundland, Canada, it is long regarded as a multi-billion dollars business as far as Canadian is concerned. The cub is bludgeon to death by Canadian hunter, then skinned to obtain the fur as raw materials for winter coat and various clothing, it is cruelty and inhumanity at its best. Every year, several hundred if not thousand of Seal cubs are facing the same fate in Canada for their fur.

Bow,

It used to be hundreds of thousands. Now it's greatly reduced. Thanks to the good work of people like those in the Humane Society.

It is an industry that is not going away anytime soon in Canada unless legislative bill is passed with severe punishment on those Canadian Seal killers to protect these magnificent species. Their population had been shrinking ever since the first cull began, not because of humane society, but the annual hunting season.

Unfortunately Canada has not yet place Seal under their endanger species protection list. It is sush a disgusting scenario if watch the video clip of the processing site.
