I am now standing on the shores of Batu Kawan where the second Penang Bridge is to be constructed. Straight ahead should be the Island of Penang, but now only sea. I can see vultures hovering above the waters where the Island used to be. It's gone! The Island of Penang is gone!!
Our PM Najib held an emergency meeting but couldn't invite Penang CM Lim Guan Eng to attend. It is believed that Lim Guan Eng has escaped by the DAP Rocket which was parked on top of Komtar at the time of attack.
Latest announcement by the PM that there will be no by-elections as it is bye-bye Penang. After all the PM reiterated that BN is not going to play to the tunes of Ultraman and Spiderman.
