President Obama's First Country To Visit.

Pictures from BBC News
Sorry I can't tell which one is for real!!
Or are both the same person?

After Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th US President, the first question asked was:
"Mr President, which country will you visit first?"

"Indonesia, of course!!"

(Please note: this post is labelled under "humour".)

President Obama is to visit Malaysia, to give a lecture to Umno and BN leaders who have overstayed their tenure in government in the name of 'reform' or 're-branding' though they themselves had passed their legitimate 'shelf life' long long ago.

Why Indonesia? Indonesia is more liberated than Malaysia.

A true Malaysian,

Did you look at the 2 pictures clearly and note my comment?

Justin,

Haha, look alike but not same person. Should have clicked the BBC link.

Anyway, my earlier comment will still be the same even if I clicked the BBC link earlier, knowing Indonesia was once 'home' to President Obama.

My hope to Obama is to bring closer the gap the Muslim and non-Muslim worlds.

Muslim must not have any suspicious on anyone for this gap to become closer. We cannot live by ourselves in seclusion.

"I see my resemblance to Obama as a blessing - I used to look at the mirror and I had a negative perception of myself"

Ilham Anas - Obama lookalike

______________

Very humble expression of Ilham Anas. You just not only lookalike Obama, you are just like Obama.

By building on the principle of mutual respect can people of different faiths come together, if one with the most followers want to dominate other faiths by destroying their places of worships and spit on their Gods, then no man is powerful enough to neutralize that hatred and evilness within them, let alone bringing them closer.googleblp

Surprise to see you here again, "bow", after your abrupt "disappearance".

Welcome back.

"Peaceful coexistence" with due respect for one another is the only path to social understanding and peace. This requires each party to look within itself and to avoid hurting others' sensitivity and feelings.

Justin,

If you become a President of USA, I volunteer myself to carry your bag, be your driver and stop reading and commenting in blogs. Hahaha.

Anyway, HAPPY CHINESE 牛 YEAR. May the year of ox brings you and family happiness, good health and a peaceful mind.

Justin,

Sorry to post an unrelated topic but I am trying to muster as much help as possible for a person in real need. Hope you don't mind.

Seeking your prayer for someone in real need of it.

Novice101 (S Hopeful),

Buddhists would normally do a recitation, and radiate goodwill to the person.

I shall do that for Vivian.

Justin.

Dear Serendipity Hopeful,

Thank you for sharing Vivian's plight. It is so sad, she is only 34 years old.

We will pray for her recovery soon.

Regards,
Li Li

Exactly, Justin! Mutual respect, exist and benefit is the only way for people of all faiths to avoid conflict that lead to anger and discord. If all people of faiths would to strictly abide by the true teaching of their respective religions that require them to live in peace along each others, instead of seek domination over one and others, then many wars and violence will have ceased long time ago.

Lack of understanding of one own religion and others couple with sense of superiority had to be put aside by all like christian, Muslim , Jewish, Buddhist , Hindu, Taoist and non believer, then everlasting peace among mankind can only be achieved.

bow,

So long as there is fervent and unscrupulous proselytizing on the one end; and forceful domination in the name of religion, there will be no peace. And it will be, knowing the characteristics of humans.

We can learn from nature and animal behaviour. How they survive by peaceful coexistence.
