(Disclaimer: The above picture has nothing to do with "You Know Who")

The Malaysian Insider reports: "The Government today reneged on verbal assurances given to former judges and disclosed that former Lord President Tun Salleh Abas and the five Supreme Court judges sacked during the 1988 judicial crisis were paid a total of RM10.5 million in ex-gratia payment."

What about deducting this amount from the pension of "You Know Who"?

Have A Nice Day!

This is the problem of taking the easy way out for solving problem with money.

Dignity is priceless, it cannot be equated with dollar and cent.

It is apparent who mess up the whole thing here in the first place. To them, money can solve whatever problem. Let one's own kamma determine oneself.

In the meantime retired folks like me have to live a frugal lifestyle.

Not that I like to "retire", but due to circumstances and the fact that I have no commercial value anymore!

Justin,

Don't forget, 'contentment' is the key word here.

I see value in you.

No commercial value..is not true...but being old..hard to find employmentship...is a fact.
Some companies do value old cock with experiences.
If the sparrows are well fed and taken care by special beings..I am sure Chief Reverend will not let you go hungry nor be useless.
Somehow...Justin will survive and be useful...which he is now.

Justin,

You are what you are.

You deserve my praises but I am not a VIP, I am only a small fly. So, my praises are not so valuable, haha.

Whatever, money cannot solve all problems. Just ask Salleh Abas, is he happy with the non-gratia payment? To me, he should be re-installed as Lord President or Chief Justice.

Monsterball & A True Malaysian,

I agree with all your comments!

Yes, Tun Abas should be reinstated to his rightful and honourable status!
