Stingrays : Massive Migration!!

Just received this mail. I like to share it with all of you.

Nature is very meticulous and orderly. So long as foolish humans leave nature alone, we will be saved. Only when humans try to be clever to meddle with the power of nature in the false idea of "research and protection", that we become victims of our own doing. They don't need our "research and protection". They just need our wise cooperation to live and let live!

Even if they really become extinct, so what? It is the very nature of this world that nothing will last forever.

For more information on stingrays, refer Wikipedia by clicking HERE.

Have a nice day!!

Can you IMAGINE seeing this in person? Awesome....

Looking like giant leaves floating in the sea thousands of Golden Rays are seen here gathering off the coast of Mexico

The spectacular scene was captured as the magnificent creatures made one of their biannual mass migrations to more agreeable waters.

Gliding silently beneath the waves they turned vast areas of blue water to gold off the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula .

Sandra Critelli, an amateur photographer, stumbled across the phenomenon while looking for whale sharks.
She said: 'It was an unreal image, very difficult to describe. The surface of the water was covered by warm and different shades of gold and looked like a bed of autumn leaves gently moved by the wind.

'We were surrounded by them without seeing the edge of the school and we could see many under the water surface too.
'I feel very fortunate I was there in the right place at the right time to experience nature at his best.' Measuring up to 7ft (2.1 meters) from wing-tip to wing-tip, Golden rays are also more prosaically known as cow nose rays.

'It's hard to say exactly how many there were but in the range of a few thousand.

They have long, pointed pectoral fins that separate into two lobes in front of their high-domed heads and give them a cow-like appearance.
Despite having poisonous stingers they are known to be shy and non-threatening when in large schools.
The population in the Gulf of Mexico migrates, in schools of as many as 10,000, clockwise from western Florida to the Yucatan.

This is a magnificent piece of news. In actual sense, we humans are part of the nature and yet we destroy nature in the name of development.

Loving nature should be a significant part of our education system since young, but different in beliefs / religions make this 'imperfect'.

I do miss LiLi's comments.
Gracie is fun to read too.'s nice to see..but sad.if you understand...they have no choice...due to man's greed. And in Malaysia..we have alot of Malaysian Chinese with loving hearts...only for themselves...and personal benefits.
These are the kind of unreliable friends that can sell a maintain race politics...sell their be second class citizen...sell their votes...because their own kind..the racialist Chinese are there...with powerful balls carrying is way of life to them...hoping get rich.
Yes...Justin...waves of Malaysian Chinese left Malaysia..due to these bloody Malaysian for MCA and the name of peace and harmony.
Yet today..they can the name of ..getting along...using an example.
Minds are so cunning....that they are actually proven right...because religions are today....are managed by imperfect leaders/teachers...out to please greedy and selfish minds...out to say nice that believers will not abandon it.
Religions are big and powerful businesses...very profitable.
And smart...well educated Malaysian Chinese .such as doctors...economists..mostly with Chinese educations base..are the love play race politics....for their own personal benefits...never for Malaysia Malaysians.
And sad to no balls ..afraid to die...Malaysia into that kind of traps.

MCA n Gerakan supporters are mainly chinese-ed Malaysians, they love China very much not Malaysia, see the reason why they want to support racial politic.

It is natural to have affection towards the country where one's ancestors came from. That doesn't mean that one is less "loving" for the country one is born in.

Look everywhere, esp the USA. All Americans (except the native Indians) have roots somwhere else, and they have affection to those countries. But they are all very patriotic American citizens.

In Malaysia, it is no secret that most Indians have contacts in "mother" India. That doesn't make them less patriotic Malaysians. So are Chinese. What about the millions who still look towards Indonesia?
